Cloud and rain central and southern areas, drier, brighter and cooler to the north

Good morning,

Cloudy skies in the far south of England and the coasts of East Anglia today. There could be a few spots of rain and some drizzle in southeastern England. Sunshine increases as one heads further north, and it will be dry for many areas too.
 

More sunshine this afternoon in Scotland, Ireland and northern England as well as the northern parts of the Midlands and north Wales. Thicker cloud and drier conditions in the south of England. Spots of rain here too. A risk of a frost tonight in northern areas, cloudier and drier to the south.
