Breezy with sunshine and showers, heavy in the west

Good morning,

Another breezy, cool and showery day ahead. Most showers affecting western and southern areas, a few of them heavy. Eastern areas tending to start the day drier but with a fair amount of cloud.

 
 
 

Some showers will be penetrating eastwards this afternoon, but the northeast of England and eastern Scotland should be staying dry. Further showers in western and southern areas, these heavy and thundery at times. The showers become confined to western coasts and hills tonight, with eastern areas tending to stay dry.
