Morning Call - September 30, 2022
Heavy rain/high winds
Clearly to blustery showers

Issued: 0530hrs Friday 30th September 2022
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

An unsettled day with heavy and persistent rain including high winds

Good morning,

In the morning, rain, heavy and persistent in places, affects Scotland, Wales into northern England, while quickly clearing much of western Ireland and Northern Ireland by midday. The rest of England will be largely dry though with building cloud.

Rain continues to push southeastwards across England and Wales in the afternoon, falling heavy over higher ground in particular but likely to see higher totals for many other areas. Brighter weather further north and west though with blustery showers.

Rain clearing southeast England overnight, while elsewhere sees blustery showers, these mainly affecting western areas. Best of the clear spells further east. Not overly chilly.

Have a good one.

Alexi
