Morning Call - May 16, 2018
Still Predominantly Dry
Cooler For All

Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 16th May 2018
Duty forecaster: Matthew Hugo

Predominantly dry conditions will prevail, albeit with more cloud than previous days but noticeably it will be cooler than earlier in the week.

Good morning,

Into Wednesday morning and it will be a chilly start across Scotland, Ireland and perhaps the far north of England with some ground frost, but with plenty of sunshine. Cloudier across England and Wales, perhaps with a few isolated showers, but otherwise dry weather prevails. Mainly dry through the rest of the morning too with bright or sunny spells, but all areas noticeably cool.

Through the afternoon and no significant changes are forecast many areas dry with bright or sunny spells, these most prevelant across northern and western areas of the British Isles, but many areas cool in more of a breeze, especially in the south and east with a NE'ly breeze here and also with some cloudier intervals too.

A dry and settled evening ahead for many areas with some sunshine before sunset, but then many areas dry overnight with clear spells and variable cloud. Beneath the clear spells and light winds in the north and west especially it will be another chilly night with some ground frost certainly possible.
