Morning Call - February 16, 2019
Staying mild
Scattered showers in the west

Issued: 0530hrs Saturday 16th February 2019
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

Saturday will be another mild day with mist and fog patches in the south first thing and scattered showers in the west through the day

Good morning,

It will be a mostly cloudy start to the day across the UK and Ireland with some mist and fog patches across the southern half of England. Western parts of Scotland could see some light rain or drizzle through the morning too.

Through the morning any mist or fog patches should dissipate to leave a bright afternoon. Some blustery showers may develop over Ireland, Scotland and northwestern England but on the whole, it should be a dry and fine afternoon with high temperatures widely reaching 9 to 13C.

There won't be much change into the evening with some scattered showers still possible for western areas. The clearest skies will be in the south and east.

Have a good day!
Claire
