Some northern rain
Dry in the south

Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Some light rain or drizzle around Scotland and Northern Ireland. Dry with sunshine in the south

Good morning,

A weak cold front will bring a little rain or drizzle to parts of Central and Southern Scotland, Northern Ireland and, perhaps Northern England today with sunny intervals and just the odd light shower following down from the north. A fair day for most parts of England and Wales, with some sunshine and no more than one or two light showers in Northwest England and North Wales. Some rain or drizzle overnight, chiefly in the west, for Northern Ireland, Scotland and parts of Northwest England and Wales. The bulk of England and Wales dry with clear spells, though.

On the cool side for many with highs of 14 or 15C but the southeast will fare better with temperatures up to around 19 or 20C. Tonight will be fairly cool generally.
