Thursday 8/12/22
A cold northerly flow affecting most of the country through Thursday with widespread frost to start the day. This brings some snow showers top western, northern and eastern coasts, the most frequent of them in Scotland. One or two showers inland, but for most the day is bright and dry with some sunny spells. Temperatures reaching 3 to 4C for most.

Friday 9/12/22
An area of low pressure will be east of Scotland on Friday, slipping slowly south through the North Sea. This brings another cold day with snow showers afecting many western and northern coasts. The best sunshine in more southern areas. Highs at 2 to 4C but perhaps to 7C in the far southwest.

Saturday 10/12/22
The low pressure remains to the east of Scotland on Saturday. A widespread and severe frost on Saturday morning. Further wintry showers rotating around the low pressure, some areas seeing a covering, others getting away with a dry day. Most snow showers are expected ion eastern and northern Scotland, northern and western Ireland as well as western Wales. Sunny spells elsewhere. Highs at 2 to 4C.

Sunday 11/12/22
Low pressure stays to the east on Sunday. Again the risk of some wintry showers, most on western, northern and eastern coasts. Many areas staying drier with some sunny spells but also cold. A widespread and severe early frost. Highs at 2 to 4C but perhaps 6C in the far southwest.

Monday 12/11/22
Another chilly day on Monday. Mostly dry with sunny spells although a few snow showers affecting northern and eastern coasts. A risk of some rain in southern Ireland later. Highs at just 2 to 4C but 7C in the far southwest.

Tuesday 13/12/10/22
Another cold day with a widespread severe frost early on. Snow showers over northern and eastern coasts and hills. A risk of some morning mist and fog patches in central and southern areas. Then dry with sunny spells. Highs at 1C in Scotland, 3C in southern England.
