Sunny spells and showers

A mixed day with sunny spells but also developing showers pushing in from the west, some of these could be heavy with thunder and hail once again.

Some of these showers may merge into longer spells of rain, particularly across Northern Ireland and parts of Scotland later.

Many showers ease off across central and eastern areas overnight to see many areas dry up. Showery rain continues further west across the UK and through Ireland and Northern Ireland.
