Very warm again north-west

Cool and dull eastern coasts

Good morning,

Slack low pressure centred toward south-west England produces another fairly warm and humid day with areas of thunderstorms possible throughout the day, particularly in southern areas.

A zone of rain is expected to move westwards across central England during the morning, spreading across the Pennines and into Wales by the middle of the day into the afternoon. Some heavy bursts and local thunder possible. Further thunderstorms may also pop up in a humid atmosphere across the Midlands and south-east later in the afternoon.

Some murk around coasts, especially in the east, with low cloud spoiling things for many north-eastern parts of England and south-east Scotland. Some bursts of rain moving into central-eastern Scotland into the evening and night.

Sunniest and warmest conditions will be toward the north-west Britain and Ireland. Today's top temperatures reaching 25C in western Scotland. A humid 18 to 22C for central Britain, perhaps higher around London. Only 13C on North Sea coasts.

Have a great day.
Garry
