Showers then rain pushing across parts of the north while drier elsewhere.

A sunny start for many on Sunday but cloud will gradually increase. Showers across the Northern Isles and west Scotland as well as Northern Ireland but dry elsewhere.

In the afternoon, showers will merge into longer spells of rain across central and southern Scotland. Largely dry elsewhere but with a few scattered showers affecting northwest Wales and northwest England.

Overnight, it will be largely dry across England, Wales and Ireland but cloud and rain will continue to affect parts of Northern Ireland and southern parts of Scotland. Showers still pushing in across north and west Scotland.
