Morning Call - February 20, 2019
Rain northwest
Dry Midlands, south & east

Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 20th February 2019
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Mild southwesterlies

Good morning,

A mild southwesterly airflow influences the British Isles today, and fronts are passing northeastwards. A brisk breeze in the west and north.

Low pressure is north of Britain, and a deep low is well out over the north Atlantic. Cloudy and dull in the west and northwest of Britain, with rain or drizzle, heaviest and most persistent over the hills, but fading through the day.

High pressure resides over Europe, aiding dry and brighter weather toward central and southeast of Britain, with some sunshine breaking through.

Today's top temperatures reaching 10 to 13C, warmest toward the east & northeast.

Have a great day.
Garry
