Low pressure over Ireland on Friday. Rain in Ireland and much of northern England and eastern Scotland. A further area of rain arriving in southern England, becoming heavy. The rain then continues to spread north and west to be heaviest in Wales and western parts of England. Drier in eastern England. More rain in central and northern Scotland, heavy in the east. Rain and showers in Ireland. Highs at 6 to 11C.


Friday Night
A wet night for Northern Ireland, eastern Ireland, Wales and much of England with the heaviest rain to the southwest. Drier for Scotland and western Ireland with just occasional showers here. The best of any clear skies to the far west and far north. Overnight lows ranging from 3 or 4C under clearer skies to the north and west, 5 to 9C for most.
 


Saturday
Low pressure over the south of the UK on Saturday. Fronts pass north and west bringing rain, some of it heavy, especially over northern and eastern England. Drier in the far northwest of Scotland. Some drier weather may arrive in southern England later as well. Wet in eastern Ireland, drier in the west. Highs at 7 to 11 or 12C.
 


Sunday
Low pressure to the west of Ireland on Sunday. Rain and windy conditions in Ireland and western Scotland. Drier in England and Wales with some brighter spells to the east, although always a risk of drizzle over western hills. High temperatures at 8 to 12C.
