Breezy with showers affecting mainly western areas as well as some southern English coasts.

Rain should clear the southeast corner of England first thing, but rain is likely to linger across some southern English counties throughout the morning. Expect brisk winds across northern and western areas, as well as showers, heavy at times, or longer spells of rain over west Scotland and western parts of Ireland. Showers will affect much of Wales as well as southwest England. Drier conditions further east.

This afternoon, showers are likely to push across more central and eastern areas of Ireland and Northern Ireland with some showers reaching eastern areas of Scotland and England. Although driest of conditions still remain in the east. Showers continuing across southern English counties still. Winds staying brisk.

Overnight, showers or longer spells of rain will continue to affect western areas with drier conditions further east. Rain still potentially affecting the southern English coasts. Winds stay brisk to the south and west.
