Issued: 0530hrs Monday 20th September 2021 Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus
Mainly dry although SE England will start cloudy and damp.
Cloudy, misty and murky with patchy rain perhaps still about across the southeast to start the day on Monday. This eventually clearing off. A chilly yet largely bright start elsewhere, although cloud will gradually thicken from the west as the day progresses.
Dry for most as high pressure builds in, but patchy rain is expected to move in across northwest Ireland as well as northern and western regions of Scotland. Becoming breezy here too.
A largely cloudy night but mostly dry, however light rain and drizzle cannot be ruled out across western coasts and hills, as well as across the Northern Isles. Mist and fog patches may also form.
