Morning Call - August 31, 2018
Mostly dry generally

Issued: 0530hrs Friday 31st August 2018
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Rain into the west

Good morning,

A dry day for many today with spells of sunshine, just the slight risk of an isolated light shower in Southern England. The Southwest, however, will be cloudier with, perhaps a little rain or drizzle. Cloudy skies over Ireland with patchy rain or drizzle moving east, the damp weather reaching Northwest Scotland late in the day. Rain or drizzle extends east across Western Scotland, West Wales and Southwest England overnight but staying dry to the east of this.

Temperatures today reaching a high of 15 to 18C in the north and west but a warmer 21C or so under brighter skies in England and Wales.
