Morning Call - March 15, 2017
Mostly dry & cloudy
Drizzle in west

Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 15th March 2017
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Cloudy and mild, some drizzle in the west

Good morning,

A cloudy day to come, but a mild one too as a warm front passes northeastwards through Ireland and the UK. The cloud is going to be thick enough to produce some drizzle on western coasts and hills, more especially across western Ireland and western Scotland. A dry morning in most other areas, with a few brighter spells developing in the south and east.

This afternoon sees most rain affecting western Scotland. Mostly dry in other areas with some breaks forming in the cloud to the lee of high ground. However, western coasts and hills are always likely to be seeing some drizzle here and there.

Remaining cloudy and mild overnight. It should be mostly dry although there could be a few spots of drizzle on hills in the west.
