Sunny spells and scattered showers, feeling warm

Good morning,

Sunny spells and broken cloud to start this morning over most of the UK and Ireland. It's not going to be long before some showers start to develop though, these tending to be light and well scattered, generally over the high ground of central England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
 

This afternoon sees further sunny spells and again there could be a few showers around. Most places though are dry with sunny spells, the best in the west and south. Ireland should be fair to the west, with showers to the east.

Those showers fade tonight and some clear spells develop. Always cloudier in western Scotland and Ireland.
