Morning Call - January 20, 2023
Most dry & sunny
Fog in places

Issued: 0530hrs Friday 20th January 2023
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

Cold with ice, frost and some fog

Good morning,

There will be some mist and fog patches around that could be stubborn to lift in places. Away from the fog expect a dry and bright morning for most with plenty of sunshine though cold with ice and frost patches.

Staying dry and sunny for most during the afternoon, though there is the higher risk of some variable cloud and patchy rain, possibly wintry, across the far SE of England as well as down some eastern English coastal counties. Thicker cloud towards far SW England with some possible rain here.

A largely dry night with mist and fog developing again, extensively through parts of England and Wales. More cloud across the north and further west with patchy rain, mostly light, affecting these areas. Another cold night with frost expected.
