Rain developing for Ireland, later western Scotland
Good morning,
High pressure influences Britain today, whilst low pressure over the Atlantic pushes fronts into Ireland through the day.
It will be dry all day for most places, and there's lots of sunshine, although this will weaken as high cloud moves in from the west.
Southerly winds will strengthen later, and rain will arrive for Northern Ireland this afternoon, and western Scotland this evening.
After a chilly start, today's top temperatures will rise to 9 to 12C. Dropping quickly cool this evening, although as rain arrives in the west, temperatures will then rise through the night for many western areas.
Have a great day. Garry
