Warm sunshine, fresh air
Good morning,
A ridge of high pressure extends across Britain today, producing a fair and bright day with lots of sunshine.
Any local showers near coasts in the far south-east will soon fade this morning. Fronts spreading slowly across Ireland bring rain, which extends into the far west of Britain tonight.
Light winds and coastal sea breezes today for most places, but southerly winds will freshen from the west, reaching gale force around exposed coasts in the south-west overnight.
After a chilly start, today's top temperatures will reach 17 to 22C, warmest in south-east England.
Have a great day. Garry
