Very mild until the weekend, then a little cooler, plenty of dry weather

High pressure will be bringing plenty of dry weather over the coming days. It is going to be mild for a while too. However, cooler air will be arriving in northern parts of Scotland on Friday, this then edging south through the rest of the UK during Sunday and Monday. Becoming milder and staying mostly dry next week.

Saturday 23/3/19
High pressure will be over the country on Saturday. This brings a fair amount of cloud, which will break to allow some sunny spells to develop. Patchy rain in northern and western Scotland as fronts pass by. There is a risk of some thicker cloud in southern Wales and southern England at first too, with some spots of rain here. Highs at a cooler 7 to 11C.

Sunday 24/3/19
High pressure remains over the country on Sunday. This should bring a fair day with broken cloud and some sunny spells although slightly cooler. Cloud, rain and stronger winds affecting the far north of Scotland. Highs at 16C in the south and east, 8C in northern Scotland.
 

Monday 25/3/19
Pressure stays high on Monday. This should bring a fair day with sunny spells for most. Some broken cloud in the east and in northern Scotland with a risk of showers here. Temperatures at 5C in northern Scotland, 10 to 14C.

 
 
 

Tuesday 26/3/19
High pressure remains on Tuesday. This should bring a fair day again with good spells of sunshine, the best of them to the west. Highs at 11 to 16C.

Wednesday 27/3/19
Pressure stays high on Wednesday. The day should be dry with sunny spells although some morning mist and fog patches. There may be a few showers in northern Scotland. Tops at 9 to 16C.

Thursday 28/3/19
High pressure remains again on Thursday. This brings dry weather, but there may be some cloud and a few spots of rain in northern England and Ireland as a weak front edges south. Highs at 10 to 15C.
