Morning Call - July 23, 2018
Hot & dry southeast
Rain to northwest

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 23rd July 2018
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Rain in the northwest but hot and dry to the southeast

Good morning,

It's brolly time in western Scotland and the north and west of Ireland too. Little change here through the day with the rain continuing. Eastern parts of Scotland are mainly dry with some brighter spells, and turning drier in northern Scotland later. A few showers in northern England, these probably clearing in the later afternoon leaving conditions dry.

To the south it is going to be dry with plenty of sunshine and hot too. The heat could trigger an odd shower or thunderstorm in the Midlands and northern Enghland.
