Largely dry though cool for many

Higher pressure allows for a drier week, though an easterly wind flow will mean chillier starts and cooler daytime highs. The best of the sunshine and warmth will be expected further west.

Wednesday 5/4/23
Wednesday is a wet and cloudier day across the north and west with outbreaks of rain, heavy in places. Drier weather with the best of the lasting sunshine will be across central, southern and south-east England. Highs at 11 to 14C.

 
 
 

Thursday 6/4/23
The weather front of rain continues to push eastwards on Thursday. Then high pressure starts to build in from the west improving the weather across Ireland, Northern Ireland and many western regions of the UK. Feeling pleasantly warm in the developing sunnier spots too with highs reaching 13 or 14C.

Good Friday 7/4/23
High pressure over the country on Good Friday keeping almost everywhere dry. A chilly start in the north and west before temperatures recover well through the day, seeing highs up to 11 to 14C, warmest in the west.

Saturday 8/4/23
Saturday is another largely dry and fine day thanks to high pressure being dominant. With the high building over Scandinavia this pulls in a cooler easterly winds with the best of the sunshine and warmth across more western areas. More cloud cover in the east with possible drizzle in places where it is heavy. Highs at 10 to 13C, though cooler in the east.

Easter Sunday 9/4/23
Easter Sunday currently looks to be dry though in a more prominant easterly wind flow cloud may creep in for many and make it feel cool. If so then the best of the warmth and sunshine will be across Ireland and far western areas of the UK. Highs at 9 to 13C.

Easter Monday 10/4/23
Monday is dry for many, though an Atalntic frontal system may just push some rain across Northern Ireland and Scotland as the day progresses. Highs at 10 to 13C.
