Morning Call - June 14, 2017
Fair for most
Rain far west

Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 14th June 2017
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Sunny spells and warm for many although some thicker cloud in western Ireland and Scotland tonight

Good morning,

It's going to be a fair day for many of us. High pressure has build across England, Wales and eastern Scotland and this will be bringing dry weather and some good spells of sunshine here. It will be feeling warm in that sunshine as well with temperatures to 26C in southern England this afternoon.

Ireland and the west of Scotland may see more cloud and this could be thick enough to give an odd spot of drizzle at times. Little change here into the afternoon with a few spots of drizzle here and there.

Overnight a band of more persistent rain reaches western Scotland, although this will be only patchy as it passes east across Ireland. The rain reaching the far west of Ireland and southwest England later.
