Look out for some very low visibilities across north east England, The midlands and south east England with some dense freezing fog these may linger in prone areas well into the afternoon but will clear to some hazy sunshine It becomes windy in the north but a dry day with sunny spells across northern Ireland, north west England and Scotland. Expect highs of 3 to 7 Celsius.
 


This evening and night it's windy across the northern half of Britain but it will be staying dry across the south as well but with clear skies and lighter winds it will be a cold frosty night and again some dense fog patches are likely to form. Expect minimum temperatures of -2 to 3 Celsius.


If you are heading abroad severe cold is expected across much of Europe with a stormy Mediterranean.
