Today will be rather quiet across Britain as high pressure dominates England and Wales. Here after a chilly start, it will be fine and dry with lots of sunshine. Any early mistiness soon clears. For Northern Ireland and Scotland it will be more breezy and cloudy with sporadic outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Highs will range from 8 to 13 Celsius north to south.
A windy, cloudy evening across Northern Ireland and Scotland and overnight this rain and drizzle spills south and east into all but the far south of England. The rain will be heaviest across western Scotland. Expect minimum temperatures of 4 to 8 Celsius east to west.
If you are heading abroad much of Europe is quite chilly to cold with snow across parts of eastern Europe. It's best across Spain and Portugal.
