Morning Call - June 16, 2017
Drizzle northwest
Fair to south

Issued: 0530hrs Friday 16th June 2017
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

A cloudier and fresher day but mostly dry in the south, showers and breezy to the north

Good morning,

A cloudier morning across northern and western parts of the country. There will be some outbreaks of drizzle affecting western coasts and hills of Scotland, northwest England, Wales and Ireland. Further east and south the morning is going to be dry with some sunny spells developing for most.

This afternoon sees some more spots of drizzle in Cumbria as well as western Scotland and western Ireland. More eastern and southern areas of the country will be dry with broken cloud and some sunny spells and feeling warm in the sunshine. Rain becomes more persistent in northwest Scotland later.

Tonight sees further drizzle in the northwest but for most it should be staying dry with some clear spells to the south.
