Staying mixed for now then becoming settled later
Winds will pick up from tomorrow making it rather blustery for the rest of the week. Then high pressure gradually builds in at the end of the week allowing for more settled conditions in to the weekend. A north to north-easterly wind sets up next week which may pull in moisture on to eastern and central areas.

Friday 27/5/22 Higher pressure builds in from the southwest of the country on Friday. There will be mostly dry and bright conditions in a cooler north-westerly flow though in the sunshine should feel pleasant. Scattered showers, however, will affect parts of northern Scotland into coastal areas of northern England. Highs at 12 to 15C in Scotland and northern England, 19C in southern England.
Saturday 28/5/22 High pressure is going to be to the north of Ireland on Saturday. Dry weather for most of the country with some sunny spells. Isolated showers could affect northern Scotland. Highs at 14 to 18C.
Sunday 29/5/22 A risk of the showers becoming more widespread on Sunday, mostly across Scotland, northern and eastern England. Tending to be brighter in the west and south with sunny spells. Highs at a cooler 11C in the east though up to 18C further west and in southern Ireland.
Monday 30/5/22 Some showery rain could affect eastern areas on Monday, although high pressure to the northwest continues to bring fair conditions here with more sunny spells. Temperatures at a rather cool 11 to 16C.
Tuesday 31/5/22 Higher pressure remains on Tuesday. This brings more dry weather, especially in the west. A few showers though could continue to affect the east as a north-easterly breeze continues. Highs at 14 to 18C.
Wednesday 01/6/22 High pressure pulls away more towards Greenland by midweek, though much of the British Isles currently looks to stay largely dry, there will be a continued northerly flow allowing for more cloud and possible showers to affect eastern areas. Highs at 13 to 18C.
