Morning Call - December 12, 2018
Damp in the west
Drier in the east

Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 12th December 2018
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Damp in the west, drier to the east, plenty of cloud and cool for all

Good morning,

A rather cloudy morning for most areas on Wednesday. There will be some outbreaks of drizzly rain in the west, most of it only light. Mist and fog shrouds the hills too. Drier in the east but still plenty of cloud here. Brighter spells in Ireland and dry overall.

Little change through the afternoon with some drizzle and patchy rain affecting Wales, southwest England and southwest Scotland, although soe brighter spells could occur in Cornwall later today. Still bright in Ireland with the best brightness in the east.

Tonight is going to be chilly in the east and an increasing breeze too. Rather cloudy, the thickest of it in the west with some more persistent rain in Ireland and across southwest England, although most of this wil be light.
