Mostly dry

Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Localised showers

Good morning,

High pressure resides to the east of Britain today, centred broadly over southern Scandinavia. Most places will be dry with broken cloud and sunshine.

A weak front lies west of Ireland with patchy rain here. A few local showers around east and southeastern coasts of Britain.

A cool easterly wind affects England & Wales, southeasterlies in Scotland and Ireland. Best of the sunshine toward the west & northwest.

Today's top temperatures around 8C around south and eastern coasts, to 10 or 11C inland, and locally 13C in favoured sheltered spots, chiefly in the west.

Have a great day.
Garry
