Morning Call - December 13, 2018
Cold, plenty of cloud
Drizzle in the west

Issued: 0530hrs Thursday 13th December 2018
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

A cold day with plenty of cloud, patchy rain and drizzle in the west

Good morning,

It's a wrapping up warm day today as cold continental air drains across most of the UK and eastern Ireland. There will be lots of cloud around this morning, although some brighter skies may drift into the far southeast of England at times. Some drizzle over the coasts of easter Scotland but dry for many.

Further patchy rain and drizzle in the southwest of England, southern and western Wales as well as much of central, southern and eastern Ireland. Feeling especially cold in the increasing southeast wind.

There may be some more brighter spells developing in eastern areas of England this afternoon. Places sheltered from the southeast wind in Wales and southern England may become brighter too, although the drizzle and patchy rain continues in southern Ireland and the far southwest of England, as well as eastern Scotland.
