Another cold day with variable cloud but some sunshine too

Good morning,

Another cold one ahead so you are going to need to wrap up warm as you venture outside this morning. There will be some cloud in eastern areas and there will be a further area of cloud with some patchy rain in Ireland.
 

In between these areas the sun should shine and it wil be dry, although it is going to stay cold. Probably more cloud than there was on Thursday.

Little changes this afternoon with all areas being cold. Winds increasing in the west of the UK and across Ireland where there will still be some patchy rain. But more persistent rain reaching western Ireland later this spreading east during the night.
