Morning Call - September 25, 2017
Cloudy with rain
Drier overnight

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 25 September 2017
Duty forecaster: John Ejdowski

Today we'll find a front stalled across Scotland and this extends down into central parts of England. Here expect some heavy spells of morning rain and lighter afternoon rain. Areas to the east and the west of this will be fair and dry with the best of any sunshine across south east England and western parts of Wales. Northern Ireland looks fine, dry and mostly sunny. Highs will range from 14 to 18 Celsius.

Apart from the odd spot of rain across the hills in the north in the evening and night, much of Britain will be dry with lots of cloud. The cloud tends to break to clear spells in the far south of England with clear skies across south west England, western Wales, Northern Ireland, East Anglia and the south east. Expect minimum temperatures of 10 to 14 Celsius but lower where skies are clear.

If you are heading abroad the best and the warmest of the weather will across southern Iberia and Turkey. Western Europe is more unsettled with eastern Europe mostly dry but colder and breezy.
