Patchy rain in the east at first, brighter and drier in the wes

Good morning,

Fronts affecting eastern England this morning bringing cloud and periods of rain here. Further west and south things are already becoming brighter as the cloud breaks and some sunny spells are coming through.
 


This afternoon sees further cloud and some periods of rain in northeast Scotland, most of this light. Elsewhere it will be bright with sunny spells. However, cloud and some outbreaks of rain in the far south of Ireland as well as the isles of Scilly.


Overnight there will be more cloud around and it is likely to be misty and murky across many central and northern areas. Drizzle affects Ireland.
