Wednesday
A slack pressure flow over the UK on Wednesday. There will be spells of sunshine for many. Some cloud will bubble up, though, possibly giving scattered showers, chiefly over the hills in the north and west. Any showers fade into the evening. Highs at 25C in Southeast England, 17C in Western Scotland.
 


Wednesday Night
Becoming dry generally overnight with clear spells and light winds. Cloud may increasing across more southern parts of England and Wales as the night progresses. There could be some cloud in the far northwest of Scotland too. Lows at 7 to 13C.

 
 
 


Thursday
A ridge of high pressure through the UK and Ireland on Thursday. Mostly dry with variable cloud but some decent spells of sunshine too. Thicker cloud and rain, moving into Northern Scotland later in the day, will edge south overnight. Temperatures at 26C in eastern England, 17C in western Scotland and Ireland.
 


Friday
Low pressure to the north of Scotland on Friday with fronts edging south and weakening gradually. This brings cloud and outbreaks of rain through Scotland, and into Northern Ireland and Northern England, the rain turning lighter and patchy as it moves south. Southern England and South Wales are likely to be mostly dry with some sunshine. Highs at 25C in Southeast England, 14C in Northern Scotland.
