Good morning,

We have a chilly start across Scotland, along with a few showers across N Scotland too. Across much of England, Wales and Ireland though it's a mostly cloudy and damp start with some regions of mainly light rain and drizzle, a much milder start to the day too than compared with Monday.

Through Tuesday afternoon and not a great deal will change with cloud and damp weather persisting across England and Wales, with perhaps parts of NW England, Wales and SW England at greatest risk of some light rain and drizzle. It will remain drier and clearer across Scotland, with some sunshine, but a few showers persisting across N Scotland.

Into Wednesday evening and overnight and rather mild, cloudy and damp weather will persist across much of England and Wales, but with some colder, clearer conditions likely to continue across Scotland and perhaps with a frost developing here.
