Sunshine central, south & eastern England
Good morning,
Cool westerly winds continue to affect the British Isles, although milder air arrives from the west later in the day.
A few bands of showers coming in from the west in the morning, tending to fade, but as a warm front moves into the northwest, heavy rain moves into west & central Scotland and far north of Ireland. Drizzly rain around Irish Sea coasts later.
Mostly dry across the Midlands, south and east through the day with sunny spells. The far northeast of Scotland also stays largely dry and bright.
Today's top temperatures reaching 5 to 8C, but feeling cooler in a brisk wind.
Have a great day. Garry
