Morning Call - November 03, 2020
Cool & showery
Rain in south

Issued: 0530hrs Tuesday 3rd November 2020
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

A mild and breezy day with rain spreading east, heavy in the west

An area of rain and showers cross central and southern parts of England on Tuesday morning. This is likely to be clearing away from southeast England and East Anglia this afternoon. Some showers in western Scotland, these heavy. Further scattered showers over western coasts of England and Scotland as well as western Ireland.

More eastern and central areas will be brighter with some good spells of sunshine. There could be a few showers here and there, but generally it should be dry. There is a risk of some more persistent showers in northern England for a time, but these should ease.

Becoming drier tonight under clearer skies as the showers fade. Further showers in northern Scotland, some heavy. Under the clearer skies and lighter winds there is a risk of frost.
