Breezy and cool
Showery rain

Cloudy and breezy, cool with outbreaks of rain in the west

Good morning,

It's a cloudy and breezy start to the day across northern England and Scotland. Some outbreaks of showery rain, mostly in western areas. Cloudy too for Ireland with some showery rain here, most of this only light. This afternoon should start to see a few bright spels coming through although still with some showery precipitation. Drier in northern Scotland. Feeling cool for all, cold in Scotland. Some sunny spells to the southeast this morning, plenty of cloud elsewhere with some patchy rain in western Wales. Scattered showers develop this afternoon but the bright or sunny spells become more widespread too. Feeling cool in the breeze.

Cloud across Ireland and northern England tonight. Elsewhere skies will clear. A cold night in Scotland with the threat of a touch of frost in central areas.
