Morning Call - November 25, 2017
Bitter winds
Heavy wintry showers north & west

Issued: 0530hrs Saturday 25th November 2017
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Central, east & southern areas largely dry and sunny

Good morning,

Cold west to north-westerly winds affect the British Isles today, with gales for northern Scotland, and sudden squally gusts elsewhere around showers.

Heavy bursts of snow and hail will be frequent in the west & north, with isolated thunder possible. A few scattered showers for the south-west.

Some shower bands will move well inland, but eastern areas should be mostly dry and bright. Plenty of bright sunshine away from the showers.

Today's top temperatures will struggle at just 4 to 6C for most, but feeling sub-zero where exposed to the wind.

Have a great day.
Garry
