Bright or sunny spells, best in the north and west although always more cloud in the east

High pressure remains in control of the weather through today. The east to northeast flow continues to feed some cloud into more eastern and northern areas, although it should be dry. The best of any breaks in the cloud tending to be in the west where there will be sunny spells.

This afternoon stays dry and the cloud will be breaking in northern and western areas with some sunny spells breaking through. Again the best of these will tend to be in more northern and western areas. Always more cloud in the north and east.

It should be remaining dry overnight too with soe broken cloud and clearer skies. Most of the cloud in the east.
