Feeling raw

Snow becoming widespread Tuesday

Good morning,

Bitter easterly winds affect the British Isles today and throughout the week. High pressure remains focused over Scandinavia.

Snow flurries for coming inland from the North Sea onto eastern coasts, spreading inland. Bands of snow showers also around the far south-east. Dry and bright for western regions with a good amount of sunshine.

Overnight into Tuesday, snow turns heavier in the east & north-east and also locally in the far south-east, resulting in disruption to travel.

Today's top temperatures will only reach 1 to 2C for eastern areas, up to 3 or 4C in the west. Feeling sub-zero in the wind.

Have a great day.
