Bringing in a colder air flow across the country.
Risk of some showers, possibly wintry, in the north and east.

High pressure centred to the north of the country.
Dry overall.
Mist and fog common and will struggle to lift.
Staying chilly with a possible easterly wind flow continuing.
Overnight frost.
Possible precipitation at times across the far south, perhaps wintry.

High pressure builds back over Scandinavia.
Lower pressure begins to deepen out over the North Atlantic.
A cold east to south-easterly wind flow continues.
Gradually turning more unsettled in the west and southwest.
Staying largely dry further north and east.
Frost and fog expected north and east also.

High pressure over Iceland while lower pressure moves in across England.
A mix of rain, sleet and snow to be expected.
A cold easterly wind across the country.
Temperatures struggling to rise through the day.
Frost and ice developing overnight.
Fog and frost further north.
