Limited rainfall expected for the rest of April though it will feel cooler. The first two weeks of May are looking rather benign with rain at times and cool to average temperatures. As we head towards the middle part of the month there are hopeful signs of higher pressure wanting to build in across the country allowing for some drier, warmer days.

Pressure building over the country through the week.
Limited rainfall, though some showers.
Lighter winds. Risk of mist and fog developing.
Chilly starts and cooler daytime temperatures.

*2/5/22 - 9/5/22*
A weak pressure pattern.
Higher pressure retreats towards the North Atlantic.
Lower pressure deepens towards Scotland.
Outbreaks of rain moving down from the north.
A cool north-westerly wind.

*9/5/22 - 16/5/22*
A weak pressure pattern continues into this week.
While higher pressure starts to build in from the south.
Starting mixed with outbreaks of rain for many.
Becoming drier from the south.
A westerly wind and cool/average temperatures.

*16/5/22 - 23/5/22*
Pressure builds across more of the country.
