The last part of May into June looks to be largely dry with warm temperatures expected as high pressure builds in across the country. As we progress through the start of June conditions gradually become more mixed with some unsettled weather set for the middle of the month.

*23/5/22 - 30/5/22*
Low pressure to the north of Scotland.
High pressure to the south of England.
A more westerly flow.
Mixed weather with strengthened winds at times.
A cooler week with temperatures pulling back to around average.

*30/5/22 - 6/6/22*
High pressure moves in across the British Isles.
A slack wind flow across the country.
Largely dry and settled conditions.
Temperatures rise to above values, particularly in the south and west.

*6/5/22 - 13/5/22*
Ridge moves more west and over the North Atlantic.
Lower pressure develops over Scandinavia.
Largely dry weather though showers are to be expected at times.
A more northwesterly wind sets up.
Temperatures pull back though still warmer in the west.

*13/5/22 - 20/5/22*
High pressure weakens over North Atlantic.
Lower pressure moves in more across northern and eastern regions.
A more mixed/unsettled week of weather.
Rain to affect particularly the north and east.
Tending to be drier further west and southwest.
A cooler week again for many with temperatures around or below average.
