August sees a largely dry first half with high pressure being mainly dominant, then Atlantic low pressure will push rain in across the north and west while the south and east staying largely dry still.
*1/8/22 - 7/8/22* Initially many seeing changeable weather. Warm and muggy too. The higher pressure builds later. Becoming mostly dry and settled. A cooler north-westerly flow moves in.
*8/8/22 - 14/8/22* High pressure is the dominant weather feature this week. Mainly dry conditions for all. Gradually turning warmer for many.
*15/8/22 - 21/8/22* High pressure eases back. Atlantic lower pressure likely to bring rain to the north and west at times. Cooler towards the north and west. Tending to be drier, warmer and sunnier across the far south and southeast.
*22/8/22 - 28/8/22* Low pressure in North Atlantic. higher pressure ridging in the east. Wetter weather conditions north and west. Drier and sunnier towards the south and east. Feeling warmer and more humid for all.
