Cold and windy northern Europe, showers in Mediterranean

Wednesday
Heavy rain affecting the north of Spain. on Wednesday. Fair in central and southern areas of Spain. Some showers for the balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Italy will have showers in the west and north but drier east and south. Greece and Turkey are mostly dry, although some snow may affect the east.
A cold and unsettled day in France with strong winds and frequent showers, some heavy and wintry. Some heavier rain in the south. Breezy and cold in the Low Countries with more showers here. Gales in northern Germany, a risk of heavy rain. Heavy rain and gales affecting Poland. Scattered showers in Hungary. Mostly dry in Austria and Switzerland.
Rain and sleet in Denmark, windy too.Sleet and snow for the Baltic States and becoming cold and windy again. Some snow showers for Finland. Snow in the south of Seeden, fair in central and northern areas. Some showers showers around western and northern coasts of Norway, drier in the east.

Thursday
Rain across northern coasts of Spain. Showers and chilly in central and eastern areas of Spain. Dry in the south and through Portugal with good spells of sunshine. Rain passing south through the Balearics with some heavy rain in Corsica and Sardinia. The rai afecting central and northern parts of Italy, sometimes heavy. The south should be dry with sunny spells. A few showers in western Greece but mostly dry. Turkey will have sunny spells and should be dry too.
A cold day in France with bands of showers moving south, some sunny spells. Heavy and frequent showers for the Low Countries, some of them wintry. Further showers in Germany, most in central and western areas. Poland should be dry with sunny spells, although wind and some rain in the north. Hungary and Austria and swell as Switzerland will be wet.
Chilly for Denmark with sunny spells. Fair in much of Sweden. Rain and sleet will be turning to snow in the Baltic States. Finland will be chilly and dry. Showers in coastal areas of Norway, drier inland with sunny spells.
