Mostly dry over the Mediterranean. Thundery downpours across central Europe. Wet and breezy through Scandinavia.


Wednesday
Largely dry and fine across Portugal. Thundery showers still affecting parts of Spain with these possibly affecting the westernmost Balearic Islands. Dry, hot and sunny still for Sardinia, Siciliy and much of Italy as well as Turkey and Greece.
Thundery showers will affect southern France still through Wednesday but northern France will be dry with sunshine. Germany and the Low Countries will be largely dry with sunny spells alhtough southern Germany will see heavy and thundery showers. Thundery outbreaks of rain for Austria and Switzerland as well as Hungary. Croatia should remain dry with sunshine. Further east there will be some cloud but mostly dry.
Low pressure over Scandinavia will bring spells of rain to mainly western parts of Norway as well as northern Sweden and across much of Finland. The best of the sunnier spells over southern parts of Norway and Sweden. Breezy with blustery showers across the Baltic States. Breezy but mostly dry for Denmark.


Thursday
Another dry and sunny day across Portugal and for the majority of Spain although heavy and thundery downpours look to affect the northern regions. Drier today across the Balearic Islands although Sardinia could see more in the way of cloud and possible showers as well as southern Italy. Largely dry for Sicily. Dry and fine across Greece and Turkey.
Largely dry across France although the same as yesterday with heavy thundery downpours expected across more southern regions. Germany too should be largely dry but with possible heavy and thundery downpours in the far south. The Low Countries will see more in the way of cloud about with the potential for some light and patchy rain. Austria, Hungary and Croatia will see some rain, often heavy and thundery again. Sunny spells and some scattered showers about across eastern Europe.
Low pressure remains over Scandinavia although the majority of the heavier and more persistent rain will affect northern parts of Norway and Sweden. Finland will see rain in the morning but should become drier during the afternoon. Drier and brighter across southern Norway and Sweden. Staying unsettled with showers across the Baltic States.
