Heavy rain in Mediterranean, fair for northern Europe

Wednesday
Heavy showers or longer spells of rain for northeast, eastern and southern Spain today. The unsettled weather affecting the Balearics too with some heavy spells of rain here. Rain in western and northern Italy but dry to the south. Greece and most of Turkey will be fine with plenty of sunshine and should stay dry too.
More rain across central and southern France, some of it thundery. Dry to the north with sunny spells. Further sunshine in the Low Countries and western Germany. Rain for the east of Germany, this affecting northern Poland too. Southern Poland should be fair with sunny spells. Hungary and Austria will be dry with more sunshine, but some rain in Switzerland.
Fair for Denmark with sunny spells. Windy for the Baltic States, some sunshine here. Staying fair in Finland, more sunshine at times. Sweden and Norway should both be dry with sunny spells.

Thursday
Rain and showers affecting western Spain and Portugal on Thursday.Fair in central and eastern Spain with sunny spells here. Rain should clear the Balearics, although a wet day through Corsica, Sardinia and much of central and northern Italy. The far south of Italy should be fair with sunny spells here. More sunshine to come acros Greece and Turkey as well as feeling warm.
Rain and clou in the south of France, but fair in the north. A windy day through the Low Countries with broken cloud. Breezy in central and northern Germany with a fair amount of cloud here. Poland should be dry and bright. Hungary will be dry with some sunny spells. Austria and Switzerland are going to be seeing some showery bursts of rain, some becoming heavy and thundery.
Cloudy with a few spots of rain in Denmark as well as being breezy. More dry weather for the Baltic States, breezy here. Finland will be dry and bright with sunny spells. fair for most of Norway and Sweden with some sunny spells. Showers affecting the far north of Norway.
