Cold in north

Wet through central Europe and northern Spain, cold Scandinavia

Some showers for eastern and northern Spain - these locally heavy. Staying dry and fine to the southwest and for Portugal. Mostly bright for the Balearic Islands and Italy though widespread afternoon showers are expected to form. Mostly bright too for Greece and Turkey with some showery rain to the west and north.
Sunny spells and scattered showers are expected through much of Europe on Tuesday. Showers becoming locally heavy during the afternoon across France, the Low Countries, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary.
High pressure remains dominant over Scandinavia with mostly dry and bright conditions prevailing. Fronts do encroach into western Norway bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain here. It remains dry and bright for eastern Norway, Sweden, Finland, the Baltic States and Denmark though with more cloud around than on Monday.

A wet day for most of the north of Spain and northern Portugal. Showers in the Balearics but fair in the south of Iberia. More rain in the far north of Italy, but fair in central and southern areas. Greece will be fair in central and southern parts, rain in the north. Turkey will be fair, again with lots of sunshine throughout.
Rain for much of France with some of it heavy in central and eastern areas. Drier in the far west. The Low Countries will have a scattering of showers. A few showers in central Germany and cold here. Rain in Poland and staying wet across Austria, Hungary and Switzerland.
Cold and breezy in Denmark with a scattering of showers. The baltic States will be bright and cool. Finland will have sunny spells and should be cool. Light rain in Sweden and staying cool here too. A cold day for Denmark with rain and sleet, some snow in the north.
